The dark knight rises: E P I C !

Hello guys.

I've been wanting to watch The Amazing Spider-man since two weeks back, but Mr. Fiance keeps on delaying it. So when The Dark Knight Rises actually 'rises' in theater, plus the whole chaos caused by the mass shooting, i just couldn't resist to watch this movie. And MANNN.. It was EPIC.

The whole plot was so carefully done that when i feel like the batman couldn't do any better, he actually RISE. The twisting part where they reveal that Miranda was actually the daughter of Ra's Al Ghul really thrilled me. Boy.. All along i thought the kid who jumped out of the well was Bane. Wow.

Another surprising part was when they reveal Blake's real name in the end of the movie. I almost jumped with excitement when i heard his name was Robin. Well that put a big question mark- will he become 'Robin' or will he replace Bruce Wayne??

Not forgetting, the stunning Catwoman. She was so smart & tough, her costume was so perfect, and she fight really well, too. Hands down, this is by far the best character ever played by Anne Hathaway. :)

I wonder if i was the only one who feel this, but deep inside i totally love this masterpiece. Me and Mr. Fiance can't stop talking about it until few hours later. If i could rate this movie, i'd say it's 9.5/10. Truth been told, apparently 83 910 other people agreed with me. The rate in Imdb was 9.2!! That's the highest among all other movie rates i've ever seen. BIG WOW.

Mr. Fiance, would u watch this movie with me once again?? Pretty pleaseee ;)

Mass shooting in Colorado: 'The Joker' Rises

Few days back, i read an incredibly well written novel by Jodi Picoult - Nineteen Minutes. The main story is about a mass shooting in a high-school. Apparently the shooter was a bullied victim since he was in kindergarten. The plot went very well with so much conflict and question marks. I was amazed to realize that in such a short time - nineteen minutes - so many things could happen.

Well, that WAS before I read another story. A real-life one.

This time, in less than TEN MINUTES, this one guy who called himself The Joker had killed 12 people & injured 59 others including a 3-month-old baby! Oh myyyy.. I was seriously speechless. Before, i thought the novel was awesome, but this is a real event we are talking about! Here's a quick summary I found:

As u can see, it took only ten minutes for the police to arrive, and that would mean the whole shooting took LESS than ten minutes?? Less than ten minutes was all he needed to take 12 lives. Less than ten minutes, that would never ever turn back..

Yes, the shooter had been arrested. Yes, undoubtedly he will get the highest punishment. But hey, who are we kidding? Even giving him thousand years sentence nor a death row sentence wouldn't make the dead less deader, wouldn't they?? I strongly think that it's the easy-access to harmful weapon is the main concern here. Sigh.

To the families of the victim, I'm so sorry for your loss. My heart truly go out for those who involved. :'(
To the law authorities (not only in US but all countries), please do something to avoid people buying guns like they are buying a bloody cigarettes.
To the so-called Joker, I wish u'll get the highest punishment ever.

Alhamdulillah. It's Ramadhan again :)

Alhamdulillah, here in KL, rain was pouring heavily on the evening of this year's 1st Ramadhan. Masha-Allah, every place was surrounded with coldness & my favorite fresh scent of rain. I was waiting for Mr.Fiance to pick me up yesterday evening when i saw our Aroma Queen's facebook counter. :)

Did u notice that counter?? Alhamdulillah it's now 5 digits! The moment i wrote this (7.10am 21/7/2012), it has reached 10 050. I know we are still too small to compare with other pages but hey, all this comes from our own 2cent, passion & effort, so i guess i'm allowed to be proud of it, didn't i?  :')

Alhamdulillah, it's been two years for Aroma Queen, and 3rd puasa with Mr.Fiance. Insya-Allah, next Ramadhan would be even better for us. Alhamdulillah, we meet again, Ramadhan. Alhamdulillah, for all blessings that we got. Thank you Allah.. (^_____^)


**  I read about the mass shooting in Dark Knight Rises's movie theatre in Aurora, Colorado. 12 people were found dead & 38 injured. It seems like the novel i read recently- Nineteen Minutes- became reality. Will post something about this tomorrow. Till then.
